Jen Sacksen is
married and the mother of four active athletes who are all active
riders in Eventing and Show Jumping. All four were active USPC members;
quite a few times all four competed at once at Championships, several
times in Tetrathlon. Jen has been active in Pony Club at all levels:
club, regional and national since her first child joined as a D1. The
entire Sacksen family loves the sport of Tetrathlon. Jen has this to
say, "Tetrathlon is a wonderful sport which requires the athlete to
prepare the whole body and gives maturity to the mind as well. It is a
natural springboard to the Modern Pentathlon, an Olympic sport and one
in which Pony Club athletes have excelled."
